を調べたところ、50㎜がカットオフ値として選択され、TMHTは、他のMallampatiテスト、オトガイ距離（Thyromental
distance
）、胸骨距離（sternomental distance）テストよりも正確だった。

鼻の手術で術中、デクスメデトミジンを0.4µｇ/kg/hで使用すると術後の覚醒時
興奮が減った。
さらに、抜管の間の血行動態がより安定していた。また、術24時間後の患者がレ
ポートした全体的な質も良かった。

帝王切開を受ける患者30人にTAPブロックを（ropivacaine
2.5mg/kg）で行った場合、血中濃度が投与後30分でピークに達し、（平均
1.82μg/ml）うち3人に神経毒性症状が出現、その最大濃度の平均値は2.70μg/ml
であった。帝王切開患者ではＴＡＰブロックの血中濃度が上昇しやすいと考えられる。

待機的な冠動脈バイパス術を受ける患者で、EF35％以下の低左心機能であるが循環動態が安定している患者に対して、執刀前にIABPを挿入することは予後を改善しない、ということが示唆された。
IABP挿入による合併症や手技にかかるコストなどのことも含めると、本研究で対象としたような患者に対してIABPが必要な手技であるとはいえないだろう。
